What is Cap and Cove Flooring?

Cap and cove, often referred to as flash coving, is the process of using a ‘cove former’ to create a neat curve at the base of the wall, allowing the vinyl to continue upwards. A ‘capping strip’ is then used to provide a tidy, sealed finish at the top edge. This creates a fully tanked, waterproof floor that is essential for sterile and wet environments.
